Press Release: Sequel Partnering to Expand in 2025!

Sequel Wire and Cable continues to exceed customer expectations and meet growing demand. Formed with the vision of creating a company that would quickly become a meaningful player in the industry, Sequel has had significant success and several expansions. Based on its industry leadership and trajectory, Sequel was approached by well-respected industry veterans with a proposal.

Sequel is officially partnering with Gary Yetman and Jim Coleman to grow the business through an investment by Cuprum Holdings, LLC, to launch a new company, Sequel Wire and Cable Holdings, LLC. This transaction will provide enhanced access to financing, which will speed up planned expansions and create additional capacity to broaden the product offerings. Sequel’s current operating structure remains intact and is now renamed Sequel OEM Group, LLC under Sequel Wire and Cable Holdings. Rich Carr will serve as President and CEO of the Sequel OEM Group. Mike Frigo and Denise Feece will remain in their current roles.

Anticipated Growth and Workforce Opportunities

For employees and the Argos area, this new partnership is great news. Additional skilled employees will eventually be needed to meet the expanded manufacturing capacity as new product lines are introduced. The area continues to be a great place for the expansion of facilities and will remain as the Sequel OEM Group headquarters. Rich Carr shared, “Our new partners respect the established Sequel structure and mission as a foundation for our shared growth.” Sequel’s multi-year status of “Great Place to Work” certifications and the culture of empowering employees were appealing to the new partners' shared Vision.

“Sequel is committed to constantly evaluating and reacting to ever-changing customer needs and being agile to meet that demand,” said Carr. “This new framework is ideal. We retain what we have built and are able to expand with top industry talent, who we trust to grow with us while upholding our values.”

Vision for Expanded Product Offering

The new entity will be designated as Sequel Low Voltage Group, LLC and will also be under Sequel Wire and Cable Holdings. Jim Coleman is the President and CEO, and Gary Yetman is Executive Chairman of Sequel Wire and Cable Holdings.

Sequel Wire & Cable: Giving Runs in the Family

Every November, Sequel employees gather to volunteer at a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack event, where they pack meals for undernourished children in developing countries. FMSC, a Christian non-profit, partners with host Nappanee Missionary Church to bring volunteers from various organizations and packs 1,000,000+ meals within one week! Of the 100,000 meals packed on the November 5th shift, Sequel participants packed over 35,000.

For Sequel employees, volunteering goes beyond just showing up; it truly is a friends and family event. This year, over 25 Sequel employees participated in the event, bringing so many friends and family that the group of volunteers exceeded 150, all wearing Sequel shirts and making a difference. This year Dave Carter Associates (one of Sequel’s top RV wire distributors) joined in. Other volunteers included a baseball team coached by an employee. The littlest participants were excited to help, even standing on stools to reach the food supplies, like 5-year-old Jaxon Sauer, Denise Feece’s nephew, who joined his mom and aunt in packing.

Angela Reinbolt, a Sequel Customer Success Specialist, whose son-in-law also works at Sequel, brought her grandson, and they all worked together as a packing team. Angela commented, “Feed My Starving Children provides a space where I can work side-by-side with my grandkids. The welcoming and safe environment really shows them how fulfilling it is to give a bit of ourselves to make a difference for others. Being part of a large group of people with the same purpose is incredibly rewarding. My seven-year-old grandson was amazed to hear the number of meals we packed together—it was such a meaningful experience!”

Sequel employees are known to care about the type of company they work for, as demonstrated by earning their Great Place to Work Certification again for 2024-2025. This certification is driven by employee feedback, with 98% of Sequel employees saying, “I'm proud to tell others I work here,” highlighting that Sequel “Contributes greatly to its community and employees.” This dedication to community impact is shown at the annual MoblePack event. Guided by leaders who sincerely believe in servant leadership, Sequel employees know their efforts support a company that truly cares about their community, both locally and worldwide.

Meals are donated to FMSC food partners all over the world, where kids are fed and lives are saved! Every year, millions of children die from preventable causes–hunger is still causing nearly half of deaths in children under 5 years old. Donations fund the meal ingredients. Volunteers, like Sequel, hand-pack the meals. FMSC meals are developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition.

One enthusiastic employee, Danell Webster, said that she found the experience meaningful. “They encourage us to bring our family and friends along. It’s such a powerful way to bring people together for a common cause—helping others. The time flies by, and by the end, you find yourself wishing you could stay for another shift!”
